REACH Family Service Centre brings individuals and families with common needs together for purposeful group interaction to build support systems and enhance their social functioning.
In REACH FSC, we organise and facilitate group work for adults, children and their parents.
In 2021, we organised Triple H, standing for “Hearts, Hands, Hope.” It is our group work programme for adults with mental health concerns to seek understanding and healing with others. Our approach is to provide healing for wounded Hearts by reaching out to one another with supportive Hands and instilling Hope for recovery.
Through the group work, participants learn more about managing symptoms, coping strategies as well as increase in self- awareness. Through the stories of vulnerabilities, resilience and recovery, they provide encouragement and inspire hope to the participants in the group.
Our Triple H approach aims to help participants in 3 ways:
Learning: Participants will learn more about their conditions and symptoms. They will discover coping strategies and practise them to improve the management of their condition.
Growing Participants will grow in self-awareness to better control their own internal experiences in relation to both themselves and others.
Support: Participants will benefit from the support of the group and connect with other group members going through similar challenges.
The Triple H programme for 2021 is only available for existing clients known to REACH Family Centre.
Programme Esperanza is a programme that provides mentoring support to primary school children from vulnerable families. The programme serves as a platform for well-rounded development, where the children are taught character building and life skills. This provides them with the necessary tools at an early age to build a brighter, more resilient future.
Programme Esperanza is only available for existing clients known to REACH Family Service Centre.
